Tickets to all of our Other Realm Occasions are Non-Refundable. BUT event tickets are transferable by private or public resale exclusively through our official ticketing platform, Humanitix.com.
Exceptions may be granted under two extenuating circumstances:
Regretfully, event add-ons are NOT transferable via Humanitix resale. Please refer to each add-on’s individual listing to see if they qualify for returns. Refunds processed directly through Humanitix take 2-5 business days to return to the buyer's card. Refunds processed through Stripe, our main processor, may take between 5-10 business days to return to the buyer’s card. In both cases, refunds can only be processed to the original card used to make the purchase.
In the event an Other Realm Occasion must be postponed, purchasers will be notified by email of the changes as soon as possible.
In the event an Other Realm Occasion must be canceled, guests will be issued a refund for the base value of their tickets, minus non-refundable credit card and ticket processing fees. However, it will always be our top priority to host our events as dreamed and designed, even if they are slightly delayed.
The entirety of our terms and conditions will be available for reference on our buyers’ tickets at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to revise, amend, or add/remove sections from these works, as reflected in this up-to-date version. However, these changes will not override any preceding versions associated with pre-existing event tickets.
Our company believes that establishing a setting where people feel both physically safe and socially accepted is essential to true enjoyment. Our events can only transcend from passive entertainment to active immersion when these priorities are met. To cultivate a welcoming environment, we have set these guidelines and hold all staff and attendees responsible for adhering to this Code of Conduct.
Humanitix is our official and solely authorized event-ticketing platform. The company is based in Australia, though they've expanded to several countries over the last decade, including the United States. Several of the countries they serve enforce national policies to advertise all-inclusive ticket prices. As of August 13, 2024, Humanitix will be streamlining this policy globally, so we have preemptively priced our event tickets to remain consistent with this update.
Aside from brand distrust, Ticketmaster and Eventbrite have the highest ticketing fees of all major platforms on the market. Humanitix not only delivers many of the same service features at a slightly lower cost, BUT their ticketing fees? Since Humanitix operates as a 501c3 non-profit, 100% of their would-be profit is donated to charity instead! So Epic Events is able to balance providing fantasy-based entertainment with supporting children’s literacy programs around the globe through our choice in Humanitix. Our base ticket prices are subject to Humanitix ticketing fees, Stripe credit card processing fees, and a local Florida county tax relative to the event location itself. However, the price you see for a ticket is the price you pay - it's all included for you!
Discount codes are easy to use - just enter them into the discount prompt during checkout and money is saved! However, don’t wait until the last minute to use them. Transactions started after 11:55pm on the expiration day may not be able to redeem code savings.
Yes! So long as quantities last, Humanitix allows you to buy add-ons in standalone transactions separate from ticket purchases.
We will send follow-up emails closer to the event date to confirm the names and mailing addresses of invitation recipients. The invitations will be sent soon after, no later than two weeks prior to the event date. Keep an eye on our social media for status updates!
At this time, we do not offer shipping for any add-ons beside formal event invitations. All other add-on merchandise will be distributed during event check in.
At this time, the Other Realm Occasions hosted by So Epic Events are only for adults older than or of the minimum age of eighteen (18) years old. IDs will be checked at the entry to every event.
Valid identification documents (IDs) include driver’s licenses, state-issued identification cards, or U.S. Passport. By presenting an ID, you confirm that all details presented are accurate and updated.
We will have security on the premises and entry into the venue will be restricted to ticket holders only.
At various events and venues, you may be required to submit to courtesy safety inspection during check-in. Those who refuse to be screened or have their bags inspected will be denied entry into the event. By having a ticket, ticket holders consent to such inspections and waive any and all related claims against So Epic Events. Alcohol, weapons, and items that security deems dangerous will be confiscated. Illegal items will be turned over to local law enforcement.
To ensure the safety of our guests, we are not allowing any prop swords or other weapons for the time being, including peace tied and foam LARP weapons. Decorative props such as wings or fans are allowed.
At this time, alcohol will NOT be available at our Other Realm Occasions. We look forward to arranging alcohol service in the future.
By purchasing and redeeming tickets to any Other Realm Occasion, you understand you may be subject to and featured in event photography. So Epic Events may use your likeness, directly or indirectly, in any manner of multimedia for advertising or promotional content. Ticket holders relinquish all rights to compensation for this usage, as well as claims for libel, invasion of privacy, or emotional distress.
Our event descriptions will highlight the appropriate dress code and whether it will be strictly enforced. Generally, thematic attire or cosplay is welcomed and encouraged.
Each specific Other Realm Occasion will highlight if on-site parking is available.
So Epic Events strives to be accessible and inclusive. Events are designed with themed festivities in mind, and seating will be made available when possible. Please contact us and allow us to address any concerns or questions you may have about specific events.
At this time, only service animals are permitted at our events and venues, as required by law. However, we may inquire as to which specific tasks your service animal is trained to carry out, which is our legal right. We also reserve the right to consider your service animal as an extension of you. Should your conduct be disruptive, you may be asked to leave.
So Epic Events aims to balance decadence with conscientiousness. For example, our menus avoid common airborne triggers, such as nuts, while also making sure gluten-free options are available. We request that our vendors provide thorough descriptions of menu items for our guests to review so that they can make safe and informed decisions.
